In the evening on Andriy (13 of Desember), pupils of the 10-B and 11-A classes gathered to the modern ones; one can even say the Internet evening party.
We had excellent communication with our students from Sparkman (Arkansas, USA, 1160 miles). Due to a significant difference in time (8 hours) again had to stay in school after the lessons: we have 16.00, they have 8.00.
Our students prepared a presentation (in English) about the New Year and Christmas holidays and Ukrainian folk traditions.
The incense of the rites of biting Kalita, the Christmas carols, the "driving of the goat" was accompanied by the execution of folk songs. Colority was accompanied by folk costumes and dishes.
Our young interlocutors responded briskly to the performances of our students, and then they sang their favorite Christmas and New Year songs.
It was wonderful communication! Skype opens the world to us and we are open to the world!

У вечір на Андрія учні 10-Б і 11-А класів зібралися на сучасні, можна навіть сказати інтернет-вечорниці.
Ми мали чудове спілкування з учнями з містечка Sparkman (Арканзас, США, 1160 миль). Через значну різницю у часі (8 годин) знову довелося затриматися в школі після уроків: у нас 16.00, у них 8.00.
Наші учні підготували презентацію (англійською мовою) про передноворічний та різдвяний цикл свят та українські народні традиції.
Інсценізації обряду кусання Калити, щедрування, водіння кози супроводжувалися виконанням народних пісень. Колориту додавали і народні вбрання та страви.
Наші юні співрозмовники жваво реагували на виступи наших учнів, а потім заспівали улюблені новорічні та різдвяні пісні.
Чудове було спілкування! Skype відкриває світ нам і ми відкриваємось світу!
