З 2003 року в Україні відзначається День Європи. Згідно Указу святкування відбувається у третю суботу травня. Цього року - це 19 травня.Приємно було напередодні Дня Європи отримати запрошення до Skype спілкування з Португалії:

My name is Rosa and I'm contacting you on behalf of a group of Geography teachers from a school in Portugal. We are preparing some activities for the celebration of the Day of Europe. We would like to make Skype Mystery sessions with our 7th grade classes. The aim is to allow students to contact and interact with other students from European countries in this celebration day.
Our students have between 12 and 14 years old and our lessons last 45/50 minutes, so after discovering each other countries, can exchange some information and learnings such as learn to say hello and goodbye in the language of the students in the other classroom, and other curiosities.
We would like to do this session at the 9th or 10th of May at 12-12.50pm or 12.55-1.45 pm, Lisbon hour. If you accept one of this sessions, I'll send you the request.

І ось сьогодні відбулася ця емоційна і незабутня зустріч!
Учні 6-Б і 8-А класів разом з учителем англійської мови Вариводою О.В. прийшли після уроків у комп'ютерний клас.
Традиційна гра Mystery Skype з відгадування країни співрозмовника завершилася перемогою наших учнів. Напевно досвід гри (37 сеансів) має значення.
Потім було вільне спілкування англійською: улюблені пісні, слова вітання рідними мовами, розмова про школу та уподобання...
